31 You must not worship the LORD your God the way they do! For everything that is abhorrent to him, everything he hates, they have done when worshiping their gods. They even burn up their sons and daughters before their gods!
11 They burned incense on all the high places just like the nations whom the LORD had driven away from before them. Their evil practices made the LORD angry.

2 Then he must bring it to the sons of Aaron, the priests, and the priest must scoop out from there a handful of its choice wheat flour and some of its olive oil in addition to all of its frankincense, and the priest must offer its memorial portion up in smoke on the altar– it is a gift of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
