27 As Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man from the town met him who was possessed by demons. For a long time this man had worn no clothes and had not lived in a house, but among the tombs.

30 A large herd of pigs was feeding some distance from them.
31 Then the demons begged him,“If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”

19 But Jesus did not permit him to do so. Instead, he said to him,“Go to your home and to your people and tell them what the Lord has done for you, that he had mercy on you.”

26 It shrieked, threw him into terrible convulsions, and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said,“He is dead!”

38 The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,

47 When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout,“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
48 Many scolded him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more,“Son of David, have mercy on me!”
34 Then the entire town came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.
42 As the boy was approaching, the demon threw him to the ground and shook him with convulsions. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
35 So the people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus. They found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.
