3But you, LORD, know all about me. You watch me and test my devotion to you. Drag these wicked men away like sheep to be slaughtered! Appoint a time when they will be killed!

9The human mind is more deceitful than anything else. It is incurably bad. Who can understand it?
10I, the LORD, probe into people’s minds. I examine people’s hearts. I deal with each person according to how he has behaved. I give them what they deserve based on what they have done.
17How difficult it is for me to fathom your thoughts about me, O God! How vast is their sum total!
18If I tried to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. Even if I finished counting them, I would still have to contend with you.
21O LORD, do I not hate those who hate you, and despise those who oppose you?

12O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, you test and prove the righteous. You see into people’s hearts and minds. Pay them back for what they have done because I trust you to vindicate my cause.
23But you, LORD, know all their plots to kill me. Do not pardon their crimes! Do not ignore their sins as though you had erased them! Let them be brought down in defeat before you! Deal with them while you are still angry!
