23But you, LORD, know all their plots to kill me. Do not pardon their crimes! Do not ignore their sins as though you had erased them! Let them be brought down in defeat before you! Deal with them while you are still angry!
25This will happen because they have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to other gods, angering me with all the idols they have made. My anger will ignite against this place and will not be extinguished!’”

6It furiously struck down nations with unceasing blows. It angrily ruled over nations, oppressing them without restraint.
9You burn them up like a fiery furnace when you appear; the LORD angrily devours them; the fire consumes them.
22unless you have utterly rejected us and are angry with us beyond measure.

18So I poured my anger on them because of the blood they shed on the land and because of the idols with which they defiled it.
9I will surely punish them for doing such things!” says the LORD.“I will surely bring retribution on such a nation as this!”

46How long, O LORD, will this last? Will you remain hidden forever? Will your anger continue to burn like fire?
20So,” the Sovereign LORD says,“my raging fury will be poured out on this land. It will be poured out on human beings and animals, on trees and crops. And it will burn like a fire which cannot be extinguished.”
4You will lose your hold on the land which I gave to you as a permanent possession. I will make you serve your enemies in a land that you know nothing about. For you have made my anger burn like a fire that will never be put out.”
