18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity,
8because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
5For when we were in the flesh, the sinful desires, aroused by the law, were active in the members of our body to bear fruit for death.
6But now we have been released from the law, because we have died to what controlled us, so that we may serve in the new life of the Spirit and not under the old written code.
24Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit.
3For though we live as human beings, we do not wage war according to human standards,
14For we know that the law is spiritual– but I am unspiritual, sold into slavery to sin.

16So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know him in that way any longer.
9for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth–
18For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I want to do the good, but I cannot do it.
10God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
13And we speak about these things, not with words taught us by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.
14The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15The one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is understood by no one.
19So then, let us pursue what makes for peace and for building up one another.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies.
13For those who are circumcised do not obey the law themselves, but they want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your flesh.
12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires,
23to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
16The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children.
23But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.
3Are you so foolish? Although you began with the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by human effort?
13“Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both.” The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
11If we sowed spiritual blessings among you, is it too much to reap material things from you?
17For the kingdom of God does not consist of food and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
