1Vision Eight: The Chariots Once more I looked, and this time I saw four chariots emerging from between two mountains of bronze.
2Harnessed to the first chariot were red horses, to the second black horses,

10Then the man standing among the myrtle trees spoke up and said,“These are the ones whom the LORD has sent to walk about on the earth.”
11The riders then agreed with the angel of the LORD, who was standing among the myrtle trees,“We have been walking about on the earth, and now everything is at rest and quiet.”
18Vision Two: The Four Horns(2:1) Once again I looked and this time I saw four horns.
19So I asked the angelic messenger who spoke with me,“What are these?” He replied,“These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”
20Next the LORD showed me four blacksmiths.
21I asked,“What are these going to do?” He answered,“These horns are the ones that have scattered Judah so that there is no one to be seen. But the blacksmiths have come to terrify Judah’s enemies and cut off the horns of the nations that have thrust themselves against the land of Judah in order to scatter its people.”
11Next I asked the messenger,“What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the menorah?”
12Before he could reply I asked again,“What are these two extensions of the olive trees, which are emptying out the golden oil through the two golden pipes?”
13He replied,“Don’t you know what these are?” And I said,“No, sir.”
14So he said,“These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”
8The Content of the First Vision I was attentive that night and saw a man seated on a red horse that stood among some myrtle trees in the ravine. Behind him were red, sorrel, and white horses.
5Vision Seven: The Ephah After this the angelic messenger who had been speaking to me went out and said,“Look, see what is leaving.”
6I asked,“What is it?” And he replied,“It is a basket for measuring grain that is moving away from here.” Moreover, he said,“This is their‘eye’ throughout all the earth.”
1Vision Five: The Menorah The angelic messenger who had been speaking with me then returned and woke me, as a person is wakened from sleep.
2He asked me,“What do you see?” I replied,“I see a menorah of pure gold with a receptacle at the top. There are seven lamps at the top, with seven pipes going to the lamps.

3At this point the angelic messenger who spoke to me went out, and another messenger came to meet him
10I asked the messenger who was speaking to me,“Where are they taking the basket?”
13Then one of the elders asked me,“These dressed in long white robes– who are they and where have they come from?”
14So I said to him,“My lord, you know the answer.” Then he said to me,“These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb!
16I approached one of those standing nearby and asked him about the meaning of all this. So he spoke with me and revealed to me the interpretation of the vision:
8I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things, and when I heard and saw them, I threw myself down to worship at the feet of the angel who was showing them to me.
13The LORD then addressed good, comforting words to the angelic messenger who was speaking to me.
12I turned to see whose voice was speaking to me, and when I did so, I saw seven golden lampstands,
17Now this is what the horses and their riders looked like in my vision: The riders had breastplates that were fiery red, dark blue, and sulfurous yellow in color. The heads of the horses looked like lions’ heads, and fire, smoke, and sulfur came out of their mouths.
7But the angel said to me,“Why are you astounded? I will interpret for you the mystery of the woman and of the beast with the seven heads and ten horns that carries her.
8I heard, but I did not understand. So I said,“Sir, what will happen after these things?”
5I looked up and saw a man clothed in linen; around his waist was a belt made of gold from Ufaz.
27I saw an amber glow like a fire enclosed all around from his waist up. From his waist down I saw something that looked like fire. There was a brilliant light around it,
6For this is what the Lord has told me:“Go, post a guard! He must report what he sees.
5In the fire were what looked like four living beings. In their appearance they had human form,
9He said to me,“Go in and see the evil abominations they are practicing here.”
15An Angel Interprets Daniel’s Vision While I, Daniel, was watching the vision, I sought to understand it. Now one who appeared to be a man was standing before me.
6A Final Reminder Then the angel said to me,“These words are reliable and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must happen soon.”
2As I watched, I noticed a form that appeared to be a man. From his waist downward was something like fire, and from his waist upward something like a brightness, like an amber glow.
3When he brought me there, I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze, with a linen cord and a measuring stick in his hand. He was standing in the gateway.
4The man said to me,“Son of man, watch closely, listen carefully, and pay attention to everything I show you, for you have been brought here so that I can show it to you. Tell the house of Israel everything you see.”
15Then I looked, and I saw one wheel on the ground beside each of the four beings.
9Look what’s coming! A charioteer, a team of horses.” When questioned, he replies,“Babylon has fallen, fallen! All the idols of her gods lie shattered on the ground!”
2Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
