23And as they sayled he fell a slepe and there arose a storme of wynde in ye lake and they were fylled with water and were in ieopardy.
24And they went to him and awoke him sayinge: Master Master we are loost. Then he arose and rebuked the wynde and the tempest of water and they ceased and it wexed calme.

2And he prayed vn to the LORde ad sayd: O lord was not this my sayenge when I was yet in my contre? And therfore I hasted rather to fle to Tharsis: for I knew well ynough that thou wast a mercifull god ful of copassion long yer thou be angre and of greate mercie and repentest when thou art come to take punishment.
10And the LORde spake vn to the fish: and it cast out Ionas agayne vppon ye drie lande.
29Then fearinge lest they shuld have fallen on some Rocke they cast.iiii. ancres out of the sterne and wysshed for ye daye.
30As the shipmen were about to fle out of the ship and had let doune the bote into the see vnder a coloure as though they wolde have cast ancres out of the forshippe:
26How be it we must be cast into a certayne ylonde.

20When at the last nether sunne nor starre in many dayes appered and no small tempest laye apon vs all hope that we shuld be saved was then taken awaye.
41But they chaunsed on a place which had the see on bothe the sydes and thrust in the ship. And the foore parte stucke fast and moved not but ye hynder brake with the violence of the waves.
46and sayde vnto them: Why slepe ye? Ryse and praye lest ye fall into temptacion.
10and sayde vnto them Syrs I perceave that this vyage wilbe with hurte and moche domage not of the ladynge and ship only: but also of oure lyves.
30But when he sawe a myghty wynde he was afrayed. And as he beganne to synke he cryed sayinge: master save me.
4And Ionas went to and entred in to ye citie euen a dayes iourney and cried sayenge: There shall not passe.xl. dayes but Niniue shalbe ouerthrowen.
