26"Now therefore, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father.
6Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
7Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
8But Yahweh said to David my father, 'Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart:
48Also thus said the king, 'Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who has given one to sit on my throne this day, my eyes even seeing it.'"

32You shall see the affliction of [my] habitation, in all the wealth which [God] shall give Israel; and there shall not be an old man in your house forever.
18He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.
13As the proverb of the ancients says, 'Out of the wicked comes forth wickedness;' but my hand shall not be on you.
15He said, "Blessed is Yahweh, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David your father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
41You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
9I have been with you wherever you went, and have cut off all your enemies from before you. I will make you a great name, like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.
