They gathered together to Mizpah, and drew water, and poured it out before Yahweh, and fasted on that day, and said there, "We have sinned against Yahweh." Samuel judged the children of Israel in Mizpah.

And wayyiqqābṣû the-miṣpātâ and wayyišʾăbû-water and wayyišpĕkû before YHWH and wayyāṣûmû in-the-day the-that and wayyōʾmĕrû there ḥāṭāʾnû to-YHWH and wayyišpōṭ šĕmûʾēl ʾet-sons of yiśrāʾēl in-the-miṣpâ.
