12For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
13For we write no other things to you, than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end;
5For we don't preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake;
6seeing it is God who said, "Light will shine out of darkness," who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.
19And by this we know that we are of the truth, and persuade our hearts before him,
12Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,
7for this cause, brothers, we were comforted over you in all our distress and affliction through your faith.
8For now we live, if you stand fast in the Lord.
6Therefore, we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;
7for we walk by faith, not by sight.
1Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
2through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
16I rejoice that in everything I am confident concerning you.
12So then death works in us, but life in you.

2But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
17For we are not as so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.
22We have sent with them our brother, whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which he has in you.
18Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.
7Do you look at things only as they appear in front of your face? If anyone trusts in himself that he is Christ's, let him consider this again with himself, that, even as he is Christ's, so also we are Christ's.
9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
5and that our Good News came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we showed ourselves to be among you for your sake.
21For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
4who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
11Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are revealed to God; and I hope that we are revealed also in your consciences.
12For we are not commending ourselves to you again, but speak as giving you occasion of boasting on our behalf, that you may have something to answer those who boast in appearance, and not in heart.

17I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.
13By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

2but having suffered before and been shamefully treated, as you know, at Philippi, we grew bold in our God to tell you the Good News of God in much conflict.
8Therefore, though I have all boldness in Christ to command you that which is appropriate,
4so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.
21Now he who establishes us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God;
