9God do so to Abner, and more also, if, as Yahweh has sworn to David, I don't do even so to him;
19Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.
14So Joab and the people who were with him drew near before the Syrians to the battle; and they fled before him.
17Abner had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, "In times past, you sought for David to be king over you.
6David said to Abishai, "Now Sheba the son of Bichri will do us more harm than did Absalom. Take your lord's servants, and pursue after him, lest he get himself fortified cities, and escape out of our sight."
