4On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place far off.

22Abram said to the king of Sodom, "I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,
3He went on his journeys from the South even to Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai,
16The men rose up from there, and looked toward Sodom. Abraham went with them to see them on their way.
17Yahweh said, "Will I hide from Abraham what I do,
18since Abraham has surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him?
5Yahweh brought him outside, and said, "Look now toward the sky, and count the stars, if you are able to count them." He said to Abram, "So shall your seed be."
12They took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who lived in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
7He said to him, "I am Yahweh who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it."
18In that day Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:

4So Abram went, as Yahweh had spoken to him. Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed out of Haran.
27Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and see with your eyes: for you shall not go over this Jordan.
