5 It was so, when the days of their feasting had run their course, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, "It may be that my sons have sinned, and renounced God in their hearts." Job did so continually.

20 Then Job arose, and tore his robe, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshiped.
21 He said, "Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be the name of Yahweh."
22 In all this, Job did not sin, nor charge God with wrongdoing.
13 You who have purer eyes than to see evil, and who cannot look on perversity, why do you tolerate those who deal treacherously, and keep silent when the wicked swallows up the man who is more righteous than he,
1 Then Job answered,

2 Yahweh said to Satan, "Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn't this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"

14 "Listen to this, Job. Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
10 None is so fierce that he dare stir him up. Who then is he who can stand before me?

10 But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?" In all this Job didn't sin with his lips.

28 To man he said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. To depart from evil is understanding.'"
7 What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water,

13 That you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?
33 On earth there is not his equal, that is made without fear.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.

20 "Behold, God will not cast away a blameless man, neither will he uphold the evildoers.
1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which Yahweh God had made. He said to the woman, "Has God really said, 'You shall not eat of any tree of the garden?'"
