9God listened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again to the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah, her husband, wasn't with her.
10The woman made haste, and ran, and told her husband, and said to him, "Behold, the man has appeared to me, who came to me the [other] day."
11Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said to him, "Are you the man who spoke to the woman?" He said, "I am."
12Manoah said, "Now let your words happen. What shall be the ordering of the child, and [how] shall we do to him?"
13The angel of Yahweh said to Manoah, "Of all that I said to the woman let her beware.
24and you said, "Behold, Yahweh our God has shown us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does speak with man, and he lives.
25Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of Yahweh our God any more, then we shall die.
26For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
12The children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, "Behold, we perish! We are undone! We are all undone!
13Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of Yahweh, dies! Will we all perish?"
20He said, "You cannot see my face, for man may not see me and live."
