    17When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.

  • 39But he answered them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet.

  • 10The multitudes asked him, "What then must we do?"

  • 8"His lord commended the dishonest manager because he had done wisely, for the children of this world are, in their own generation, wiser than the children of the light.

  • 28But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, 'Son, go work today in my vineyard.'

  • 11If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

  • 7As these went their way, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John, "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
