14David said to Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of Yahweh; for his mercies are great; and let me not fall into the hand of man.

7So David checked his men with these words, and didn't allow them to rise against Saul. Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way.
16There came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the stronghold to David.
28Behold, I will stay at the fords of the wilderness, until word comes from you to inform me."
