9The woman said to him, Behold, you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off those who have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: why then lay you a snare for my life, to cause me to die?
10Saul swore to her by Yahweh, saying, As Yahweh lives, there shall no punishment happen to you for this thing.
21The woman came to Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said to him, Behold, your handmaid has listened to your voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have listened to your words which you spoke to me.
22Now therefore, please listen also to the voice of your handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread before you; and eat, that you may have strength, when you go on your way.
2Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. Yahweh said, Take a heifer with you, and say, I am come to sacrifice to Yahweh.
3Call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do: and you shall anoint to me him whom I name to you.
23Samuel said to the cook, Bring the portion which I gave you, of which I said to you, Set it by you.
17When Samuel saw Saul, Yahweh said to him, Behold, the man of whom I spoke to you! this same shall have authority over my people.

12therefore said I, Now will the Philistines come down on me to Gilgal, and I haven't entreated the favor of Yahweh: I forced myself therefore, and offered the burnt offering.
22Then went he also to Ramah, and came to the great well that is in Secu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? One said, Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah.
12Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning; and it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a monument, and turned, and passed on, and went down to Gilgal.
13Samuel came to Saul; and Saul said to him, Blessed are you by Yahweh: I have performed the commandment of Yahweh.
14Samuel said, What means then this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?
12Saul said, Hear now, you son of Ahitub. He answered, Here I am, my lord.
25and she brought it before Saul, and before his servants; and they ate. Then they rose up, and went away that night.
10Then came the word of Yahweh to Samuel, saying,
20It happened, when the time was come about, that Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, [saying], Because I have asked him of Yahweh.
26She said, Oh, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to Yahweh.

32Then said Samuel, Bring you here to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
15Saul's uncle said, Tell me, Please, what Samuel said to you.
10Then said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went to the city where the man of God was.
12Then the woman said, Please let your handmaid speak a word to my lord the king. He said, Say on.
6Yahweh called yet again, Samuel. Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for you called me. He answered, I didn't call, my son; lie down again.
34Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.
18Saul said to Ahijah, Bring here the ark of God. For the ark of God was [there] at that time with the children of Israel.
17Saul said to his servants, Provide me now a man who can play well, and bring him to me.
