    12It may be that Yahweh will look on the wrong done to me, and that Yahweh will requite me good for [his] cursing of me this day.

    13So David and his men went by the way; and Shimei went along on the hill-side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.

    14The king, and all the people who were with him, came weary; and he refreshed himself there.

    18There went over a ferry-boat to bring over the king's household, and to do what he thought good. Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, when he was come over the Jordan.

    19He said to the king, Don't let my lord impute iniquity to me, neither do you remember that which your servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.
