5Go and tell my servant David, Thus says Yahweh, Shall you build me a house for me to dwell in?
5Behold, I purpose to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God, as Yahweh spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your room, he shall build the house for my name.
7Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
8But Yahweh said to David my father, Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart:

7David said to Solomon his son, As for me, it was in my heart to build a house to the name of Yahweh my God.

18But Yahweh said to David my father, Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart:
12He shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.

2Then David the king stood up on his feet, and said, Hear me, my brothers, and my people: as for me, it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and for the footstool of our God; and I had made ready for the building.
4He said, Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and has with his hands fulfilled it, saying,
