11and that you make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we charged you;
4But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Gospel, so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.
19But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered up when I know how you are doing.
25Having this confidence, I know that I will remain, yes, and remain with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,

4For most assuredly, when we were with you, we told you beforehand that we are to suffer affliction, even as it happened, and you know.
