9He said, "If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord go in the midst of us; although this is a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance."
8Now don't you be stiff-necked, as your fathers were; but yield yourselves to Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve Yahweh your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.
21Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
11and be ready against the third day; for on the third day Yahweh will come down in the sight of all the people on Mount Sinai.
12You shall set bounds to the people round about, saying, 'Be careful that you don't go up onto the mountain, or touch its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall be surely put to death.
3Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying, "This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
5(I stood between Yahweh and you at that time, to show you the word of Yahweh: for you were afraid because of the fire, and didn't go up onto the mountain;) saying,
16Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
5He said, "Don't come close. Take off your sandals from off your feet, for the place you are standing on is holy ground."
34But when Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
25When Moses saw that the people had broken loose, (for Aaron had let them loose for a derision among their enemies),
7I said to them, Cast you away every man the abominations of his eyes, and don't defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am Yahweh your God.
35The children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing.
17Moses led the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the lower part of the mountain.

23Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought forth him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
2Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold."
2Moses alone shall come near to Yahweh, but they shall not come near, neither shall the people go up with him."
5Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
10Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
30It happened on the next day, that Moses said to the people, "You have sinned a great sin. Now I will go up to Yahweh. Perhaps I shall make atonement for your sin."
