10Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.'
17But your eyes and your heart are not but for your covetousness, and for shedding innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
40You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.
6You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled the streets of it with the slain.
13Therefore I also have struck you with a grievous wound. I have made you desolate because of your sins.
8You have despised my holy things, and have profaned my Sabbaths.
36But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death."
