12 I have made the earth, and created man on it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens; and all their host have I commanded.

19 You will say then to me, "Why does he still find fault? For who withstands his will?"
20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, "Why did you make me like this?"
21 Or hasn't the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor?
2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.
3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he was making a work on the wheels.
4 When the vessel that he made of the clay was marred in the hand of the potter, he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
6 House of Israel, can't I do with you as this potter? says Yahweh. Behold, as the clay in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, house of Israel.
8 But now, Yahweh, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.
16 Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and brings forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
50 Didn't my hand make all these things?'
15 Shall the axe boast itself against him who hews therewith? Shall the saw magnify itself against him who wields it? as if a rod should wield those who lift it up, [or] as if a staff should lift up [him who is] not wood.
8 'Your hands have framed me and fashioned me altogether; Yet you destroy me.
9 Remember, I beg you, that you have fashioned me as clay. Will you bring me into dust again?
14 He shall break it as a potter's vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing; so that there shall not be found among the pieces of it a broken piece with which to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern."

11 Behold, all his fellows shall be disappointed; and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; they shall fear, they shall be put to shame together.
12 The smith [makes] an axe, and works in the coals, and fashions it with hammers, and works it with his strong arm: yes, he is hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water, and is faint.
2 Thus says Yahweh who does it, Yahweh who forms it to establish it; Yahweh is his name:
20 Shall a man make to himself gods, which yet are no gods?
18 To whom then will you liken God? or what likeness will you compare to him?
5 To whom will you liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?
15 Didn't he who made me in the womb make him? Didn't one fashion us in the womb?
17 'Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his Maker?
7 Yet you have not listened to me, says Yahweh; that you may provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own hurt.
25 To whom then will you liken me, that I should be equal [to him]? says the Holy One.
13 and have forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fear continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he makes ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
13 Yes, since the day was I am he; and there is none who can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who can hinder it?
24 Behold, you are of nothing, and your work is of nothing; an abomination is he who chooses you.
13 Behold, isn't it of Yahweh of Hosts that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?
18 For thus says Yahweh who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and didn't create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited: I am Yahweh; and there is no one else.
13 For, behold, he who forms the mountains, And creates the wind, And declares to man what is his thought; Who makes the morning darkness, And treads on the high places of the Earth: Yahweh, the God of hosts, is his name."
25 Haven't you heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it of ancient times? now have I brought it to pass, that it should be yours to lay waste fortified cities into ruinous heaps.
4 "Yet let no man bring a charge, neither let any man accuse; For your people are like those who bring charges against a priest.
4 But I said, I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely the justice [due] to me is with Yahweh, and my recompense with my God.
24 Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb: I am Yahweh, who makes all things; who stretches forth the heavens alone; who spreads abroad the earth (who is with me?);
8 Distil, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, that it may bring forth salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up together; I, Yahweh, have created it.
2 "Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it."
6 Behold, I am toward God even as you are: I am also formed out of the clay.
