10 Take counsel together, and it shall be brought to nothing; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

8 It shall come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Hosts, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds; and strangers shall no more make him their bondservant;
5 Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have plotted evil against you, saying,
6 "Let's go up against Judah, and tear it apart, and let's divide it among ourselves, and set up a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeel."
12 to take the spoil and to take the prey; to turn your hand against the waste places that are [now] inhabited, and against the people who are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten cattle and goods, who dwell in the middle of the earth.
3 "Let's break their bonds apart, And cast away their cords from us."
11 Therefore Yahweh will set up on high against him the adversaries of Rezin, and will stir up his enemies,

9 He shall set his battering engines against your walls, and with his axes he shall break down your towers.
2 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and on Judah also will it be in the siege against Jerusalem.
3 It will happen in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.
15 Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whoever shall gather together against you shall fall because of you.
13 Now will I break his yoke from off you, and will burst your bonds apart."
8 "Therefore wait for me," says Yahweh, "until the day that I rise up to the prey, for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour on them my indignation, even all my fierce anger, for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
17 Gather up your wares out of the land, you who abide in the siege.
26 He will lift up a banner to the nations from far, And he will whistle for them from the end of the earth. Behold, they will come speedily and swiftly.
5 For all the armor of the armed man in the tumult, and the garments rolled in blood, shall be for burning, for fuel of fire.
8 Then the nations set against him on every side from the provinces; and they spread their net over him; he was taken in their pit.
22 Now therefore don't you be scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for a decree of destruction have I heard from the Lord, Yahweh of Hosts, on the whole earth.
13 For indeed I bend Judah as a bow for me. I have filled the bow with Ephraim; And I will stir up your sons, Zion, Against your sons, Greece, And will make you like the sword of a mighty man.
