30and Yahweh delivered it also, and the king of it, into the hand of Israel; and he struck it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls who were therein; he left none remaining in it; and he did to the king of it as he had done to the king of Jericho.
30By faith, the walls of Jericho fell down, after they had been encircled for seven days.

6Yahweh said to Joshua, Don't be afraid because of them; for tomorrow at this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: you shall hamstring their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
7So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly, and fell on them.
24They burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein; only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of Yahweh.
9The men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven portions in a book; and they came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.

9Joshua said to the children of Israel, Come here, and hear the words of Yahweh your God.
17When Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, "There is the noise of war in the camp."
27Only the cattle and the spoil of that city Israel took for prey to themselves, according to the word of Yahweh which he commanded Joshua.
