26Her gates shall lament and mourn; And she shall be desolate and sit on the ground.
10She is empty, void, and waste. The heart melts, the knees knock together, their bodies and faces have grown pale.
27Her princes in the midst of it are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.
23They lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roars like the sea, and they ride on horses, everyone set in array, as a man to the battle, against you, daughter of Zion.
11Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, 'Let her be defiled, And let our eye gloat over Zion.'
21For the shepherds are become brutish, and have not inquired of Yahweh: therefore they have not prospered, and all their flocks are scattered.
20Lift up your eyes, and see those who come from the north: where is the flock that was given you, your beautiful flock?
9You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; From their young children you take away my blessing forever.
