4with much entreaty calling on us to receive the favour and the fellowship of the ministration to the saints,
5and not according as we expected, but themselves they did give first to the Lord, and to us, through the will of God,
16And thanks to God, who is putting the same diligence for you in the heart of Titus,

18I entreated Titus, and did send with `him' the brother; did Titus take advantage of you? in the same spirit did we not walk? -- did we not in the same steps?
11and we desire each one of you the same diligence to shew, unto the full assurance of the hope unto the end,
1As to the rest, then, brethren, we request you, and call upon you in the Lord Jesus, as ye did receive from us how it behoveth you to walk and to please God, that ye may abound the more,

6according as the testimony of the Christ was confirmed in you,
7so that ye became patterns to all those believing in Macedonia and Achaia,
8for from you hath sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God did go forth, so that we have no need to say anything,
6And now Timotheus having come unto us from you, and having declared good news to us of your faith and love, and that ye have a good remembrance of us always, desiring much to see us, as we also `to see' you,
6that the fellowship of thy faith may become working in the full knowledge of every good thing that `is' in you toward Christ Jesus;
6which is present to you, as also in all the world, and is bearing fruit, as also in you, from the day in which ye heard, and knew the grace of God in truth;
8wherefore, I call upon you to confirm love to him,
9for, for this also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether in regard to all things ye are obedient.
8who also did declare to us your love in the Spirit.
9Because of this, we also, from the day in which we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that ye may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

13for no other things do we write to you, but what ye either do read or also acknowledge, and I hope that also unto the end ye shall acknowledge,
14according as also ye did acknowledge us in part, that your glory we are, even as also ye `are' ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus;
15and in this confidence I was purposing to come unto you before, that a second favour ye might have,
