For thus said Jehovah concerning Shallum son of Josiah king of Judah, who is reigning instead of Josiah his father, who hath gone forth from this place: He doth not turn back hither again;

  • 26then thou hast said unto them, I am causing my supplication to fall before the king, not to cause me to return to the house of Jonathan, to die there.'

  • 26and `one' burieth him in his burying-place in the garden of Uzza, and reign doth Josiah his son in his stead.
