21that they all may be one, as Thou Father `art' in me, and I in Thee; that they also in us may be one, that the world may believe that Thou didst send me.
22`And I, the glory that thou hast given to me, have given to them, that they may be one as we are one;
23I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be perfected into one, and that the world may know that Thou didst send me, and didst love them as Thou didst love me.
24`Father, those whom Thou hast given to me, I will that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory that Thou didst give to me, because Thou didst love me before the foundation of the world.
25`Righteous Father, also the world did not know Thee, and I knew Thee, and these have known that Thou didst send me,
26and I made known to them Thy name, and will make known, that the love with which Thou lovedst me in them may be, and I in them.'
1These things spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to the heaven, and said -- `Father, the hour hath come, glorify Thy Son, that Thy Son also may glorify Thee,
2according as Thou didst give to him authority over all flesh, that -- all that Thou hast given to him -- he may give to them life age-during;
3and this is the life age-during, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and him whom Thou didst send -- Jesus Christ;
4I did glorify Thee on the earth, the work I did finish that Thou hast given me, that I may do `it'.
5`And now, glorify me, Thou Father, with Thyself, with the glory that I had before the world was, with Thee;
6I did manifest Thy name to the men whom Thou hast given to me out of the world; Thine they were, and to me Thou hast given them, and Thy word they have kept;
7now they have known that all things, as many as Thou hast given to me, are from Thee,
8because the sayings that Thou hast given to me, I have given to them, and they themselves received, and have known truly, that from Thee I came forth, and they did believe that Thou didst send me.
26`In that day, in my name ye will make request, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father for you,
27for the Father himself doth love you, because me ye have loved, and ye have believed that I from God came forth;
28I came forth from the Father, and have come to the world; again I leave the world, and go on unto the Father.'
27according as I said to you: My sheep my voice do hear, and I know them, and they follow me,
28and life age-during I give to them, and they shall not perish -- to the age, and no one shall pluck them out of my hand;
29my Father, who hath given to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck out of the hand of my Father;
30I and the Father are one.'
8Jesus answered, `I said to you that I am `he'; if, then, me ye seek, suffer these to go away;'
9that the word might be fulfilled that he said -- `Those whom Thou hast given to me, I did not lose of them even one.'
19if of the world ye were, the world its own would have been loving, and because of the world ye are not -- but I chose out of the world -- because of this the world hateth you.
23and he said to them, `Ye are from beneath, I am from above; ye are of this world, I am not of this world;

16`Ye did not choose out me, but I chose out you, and did appoint you, that ye might go away, and might bear fruit, and your fruit might remain, that whatever ye may ask of the Father in my name, He may give you.
17`These things I command you, that ye love one another;
8be ye not therefore like to them, for your Father doth know those things that ye have need of before your asking him;
15`All things, as many as the Father hath, are mine; because of this I said, That of mine He will take, and will tell to you;
4For my love they oppose me, and I -- prayer!
27`Peace I leave to you; my peace I give to you, not according as the world doth give do I give to you; let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid;
28ye heard that I said to you -- I go away, and I come unto you; if ye did love me, ye would have rejoiced that I said -- I go on to the Father, because my Father is greater than I.
36Jesus answered, `My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my officers had struggled that I might not be delivered up to Jews; but now my kingdom is not from hence.'
