33`And no one having lighted a lamp, doth put `it' in a secret place, nor under the measure, but on the lamp-stand, that those coming in may behold the light.
20Then began he to reproach the cities in which were done most of his mighty works, because they did not reform.
21`Wo to thee, Chorazin! wo to thee, Bethsaida! because, if in Tyre and Sidon had been done the mighty works that were done in you, long ago in sackcloth and ashes they had reformed;
22but I say to you, to Tyre and Sidon it shall be more tolerable in a day of judgment than for you.
23`And thou, Capernaum, which unto the heaven wast exalted, unto hades shalt be brought down, because if in Sodom had been done the mighty works that were done in thee, it had remained unto this day;
24but I say to you, to the land of Sodom it shall be more tolerable in a day of judgment than to thee.'
12and I say to you, that for Sodom in that day it shall be more tolerable than for that city.

16`And to what shall I liken this generation? it is like little children in market-places, sitting and calling to their comrades,
17and saying, We piped unto you, and ye did not dance, we lamented to you, and ye did not smite the breast.
15verily I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.
28for I say to you, a greater prophet, among those born of women, than John the Baptist there is not; but the least in the reign of God is greater than he.'
31And the Lord said, `To what, then, shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
32they are like to children, to those sitting in a market-place, and calling one to another, and saying, We piped to you, and ye did not dance, we mourned to you, and ye did not weep!
19`And this is the judgment, that the light hath come to the world, and men did love the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil;
8And Nineveh `is' as a pool of waters, From of old it `is' -- and they are fleeing! `Stand ye, stand;' and none is turning!
6and I say to you, that a greater than the temple is here;
32for John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye did not believe him, and the tax-gatherers and the harlots did believe him, and ye, having seen, repented not at last -- to believe him.
10And Jehovah saith, `Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for which thou didst not labour, neither didst thou nourish it, which a son of a night was, and a son of a night perished,
11and I -- have not I pity on Nineveh, the great city, in which there are more than twelve myriads of human beings, who have not known between their right hand and their left -- and much cattle!'
12And having gone forth they were preaching that `men' might reform,
9`But what went ye out to see? -- a prophet? yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet,
5No -- I say to you, but, if ye may not reform, all ye in like manner shall perish.'
45then doth it go, and take with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and having gone in they dwell there, and the last of that man doth become worse than the first; so shall it be also to this evil generation.'

17And Jehovah appointeth a great fish to swallow up Jonah, and Jonah is in the bowels of the fish three days and three nights.
3No -- I say to you, but, if ye may not reform, all ye even so shall perish.

26`And, as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man;
