1Hear ye this word that Jehovah hath spoken concerning you, O sons of Israel, concerning all the family that I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying:
8Sworn hath the Lord Jehovah by Himself, An affirmation of Jehovah, God of Hosts: I am abominating the excellency of Jacob, And his high places I have hated, And I have delivered up the city and its fulness.
9And I also, I have made you despised and low before all the people, Because ye are not keeping My ways, And are accepting persons in the law.

6For I `am' Jehovah, I have not changed, And ye, the sons of Jacob, Ye have not been consumed.
22And Me thou hast not called, O Jacob, For thou hast been wearied of me, O Israel,

2Lo, little I have made thee among nations, Despised `art' thou exceedingly.
9Therefore, yet I plead with you, An affirmation of Jehovah, And with your sons' sons I plead.
