Verse 4

Moreouer hee buylt cities in the mountaines of Iudah, and in the forests he buylt palaces and towres.

Josh 14:12-13 : 12 Nowe therefore giue me this mountaine whereof ye Lord spake in that day (for thou heardest in that day, how the Anakims were there, & the cities great and walled) if so be the Lord will be with me, that I may driue them out, as the Lord said. 13 Then Ioshua blessed him, and gaue vnto Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh, Hebron for an inheritance.
2 Chr 11:5-9 : 5 And Rehoboam dwelt in Ierusalem, and buylt strong cities in Iudah. 6 Hee buylt also Beth-lehem, and Etam, and Tekoa, 7 And Beth-zur, and Shoco, and Adullam, 8 And Gath, and Maresha, and Ziph, 9 And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah, 10 And Zorah, and Aialon, and Hebron, which were in Iudah and Beniamin, strong cities.
2 Chr 14:7 : 7 Therefore he saide to Iudah, Let vs builde these cities and make walles about, and towers, gates, and barres, whiles the lande is before vs: because we haue sought the Lorde our God, we haue sought him, and he hath giuen vs rest on euery side: so they built and prospered.
2 Chr 26:9-9 : 9 Moreouer Vzziah buylt towres in Ierusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning, and made them strong. 10 And he built towres in the wildernesse, & digged many cisternes: for he had much cattell both in the valleyes and playnes, plowmen, and dressers of vines in the mountaines, and in Carmel: for he loued husbandrie.
