Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I beseeche thee: who shal raise vp Iaakob? for he is small.

Ps 85:4 : 4 Turne vs, O God of our saluation, and release thine anger toward vs.
Isa 1:9 : 9 Except the Lorde of hostes had reserued vnto vs, euen a small remnant: we should haue bene as Sodom, and should haue bene like vnto Gomorah.

Amos 7:2-3 : 2 And when they had made an ende of eating the grasse of the land, then I saide, O Lorde God, spare, I beseeche thee: who shal raise vp Iaakob? for he is small. 3 So the Lord repented for this. It shal not be, saith the Lord.
