Verse 6

So the Lord repented for this. This also shal not be, saith the Lord God.

Judg 2:18 : 18 And when the Lorde had raysed them vp Iudges, the Lord was with the Iudge, & deliuered them out of the hande of their enemies all the dayes of the Iudge (for the Lord had compassio on their gronings, because of them that oppressed them and tormented them)
Judg 10:16 : 16 Then they put away the strange gods from among them and serued the Lorde: and his soule was grieued for the miserie of Israel.
Ps 90:13 : 13 Returne (O Lord, howe long?) and be pacified toward thy seruants.
Ps 135:14 : 14 For the Lord will iudge his people, and be pacified towardes his seruants.
Jer 26:19 : 19 Did Hezekiah King of Iudah, and all Iudah put him to death? did he not feare ye Lorde, and prayed before the Lord, and the Lord repented him of the plague, that he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great euill against our soules.
Amos 7:3 : 3 So the Lord repented for this. It shal not be, saith the Lord.
Jonah 3:10 : 10 And God sawe their workes that they turned from their euill wayes: and God repented of the euill that he had said that he woulde doe vnto them, and he did it not.
Jonah 4:2 : 2 And he prayed vnto the Lord, and saide, I pray thee, O Lord, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my countrey? therefore I preuented it to flee vnto Tarshish: for I knewe that thou art a gratious God, & merciful, slow to anger, & of great kindnes, and repentest thee of the euill.
