Shall I not drink the cup which my Father has given me? 12 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound him, 13 and led him away to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was the high priest that year. 14 Now Caiaphas was he who gave counsel to the Jews that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. 15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple. That disciple was known to the high priest and went in with Jesus into the high priest's palace. 16 But Peter stood outside at the door. Then the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to her who kept the door, and brought Peter in. 17 Then the servant girl who kept the door said to Peter, Are you not also one of this man's disciples? He said, I am not. 18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals, for it was cold, and they warmed themselves. And Peter stood with them and warmed himself. 19 The high priest then asked Jesus about his disciples and his teaching.

And he sought how he might conveniently betray him. 12 On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover, his disciples said to him, Where do you want us to go and prepare that you may eat the Passover? 13 And he sent forth two of his disciples and said to them, Go into the city, and there shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. 14 And wherever he goes in, say to the owner of the house, The Master says, Where is the guest room where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples? 15 And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.
