Verse 1
At the same time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

Verse 2
And Jesus called a little child to him, and set him in the midst of them,
And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Verse 3
And said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted and become like little children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven.
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Verse 4
Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Verse 5
And whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me.
And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Verse 6
But whoever offends one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for him that a millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Verse 7
Woe to the world because of offenses! For it must be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Verse 8
Therefore if your hand or your foot offends you, cut them off and cast them from you: it is better for you to enter into life crippled or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
Verse 9
And if your eye offends you, pluck it out and cast it from you: it is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Verse 10
Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you, That in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
Verse 11
For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
Verse 12
What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that has gone astray?
How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
Verse 13
And if he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine which did not go astray.
And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
Verse 14
Even so, it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

Verse 15
Moreover if your brother trespasses against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he hears you, you have gained your brother.
Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
Verse 16
But if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Verse 17
And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church: but if he refuses to hear the church, let him be to you as a heathen and a tax collector.
And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
Verse 18
Truly I say to you, Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Verse 19
Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Verse 20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.

Then Peter came to him, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?

Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Up to seven times: but, Up to seventy times seven.
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Verse 23
Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
Verse 24
And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
Verse 25
But as he was not able to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made.

The servant therefore fell down, and worshiped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.

And his fellow servant fell down at his feet, and begged him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.

And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.

So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very sorry, and came and told their lord all that had been done.

Then his lord, after he had called him, said to him, O wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.

Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?
Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
Verse 34
And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
Verse 35
So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you do not forgive from your hearts every one his brother their trespasses.
So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
