• Jer 17:19-23 : 19 Thus said the LORD to me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem; 20 And say to them, Hear the word of the LORD, you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates: 21 Thus says the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; 22 Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do any work, but hallow the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. 23 But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.
• Jer 18:11 : 11 Now therefore go, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a plan against you: return now everyone from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
• Jer 25:3-7 : 3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even to this day, that is the twenty-third year, the word of the LORD has come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising early and speaking; but you have not listened. 4 And the LORD has sent to you all His servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but you have not listened, nor inclined your ear to hear. 5 They said, 'Turn now every one from his evil way and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD has given to you and to your fathers forever and ever: 6 And do not go after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and do not provoke me to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no harm.' 7 Yet you have not listened to Me, says the LORD; that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands to your own harm.
