Og Herren talte til Moses og sa,

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Tal til Israels barn og si: Hvis noen synder ved uvitende å bryte noen av Herrens bud om ting som ikke skal gjøres, og gjør noe av dem:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

Hvis den salvede presten synder i samsvar med folkets synd, da skal han for sin synd som han har begått, bringe en ung okse uten lyte til Herren som et syndoffer.

If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the peop; then t him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without bmish unto the LORD for a sin offering.

Han skal bringe oksen til døren av møteteltet for Herrens åsyn og legge hånden sin på oksens hode og slakte den for Herrens åsyn.

And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernac of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.

Og den salvede presten skal ta av oksens blod og bringe det til møteteltet.

And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernac of the congregation:

Og presten skal dyppe fingeren sin i blodet og sprenge litt av blodet sju ganger for Herrens åsyn, foran forhenget til helligdommen.

And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprink of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the vail of the sanctuary.

Og presten skal putte noe av blodet på hornene av alteret for velluktende røkelse for Herrens åsyn, som er i møteteltet, og han skal helle ut alt blodet av oksen ved foten av brennofferalteret, som er ved døren til møteteltet.

And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernac of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernac of the congregation.

Han skal ta alt fettet fra oksen som syndofferet, fettet som dekker innvollene, og alt fett som er på innvollene,

And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

og begge nyrene med fettet som er på dem ved lendene, og den store hinnen over leveren med nyrene, skal han ta bort,

And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,

slik som det er tatt bort fra oksen ved fredenes offringsdyre, og presten skal brenne dem på brennofferalteret.

As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

Og skinnet av oksen, alt kjøttet, hodet, benene, innvollene og avføringen,

And the skin of the bullock, and all his fsh, with his head, and with his gs, and his inwards, and his dung,

hele oksen skal han bære utenfor leiren til et rent sted, hvor asken helles ut, og brenne den på ved med ild; ved asken skal den brennes.

Even the who bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a can place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

Og hvis hele Israels menighet synder ved uvitende å bryte noen av Herrens bud om ting som ikke skal gjøres, og det er skjult for forsamlingens øyne, og de er skyldige;

And if the who congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

Når den synd de har begått, blir kjent, da skal menigheten bringe en ung okse som syndoffer og føre den frem for møteteltet.

When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernac of the congregation.

Menighetens eldste skal legge hendene sine på oksens hode for Herrens åsyn, og oksen skal slaktes for Herrens åsyn.

And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be kild before the LORD.

Og den salvede presten skal bringe oksens blod til møteteltet.

And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the tabernac of the congregation:

Og presten skal dyppe fingeren sin i litt av blodet og sprenge det sju ganger for Herrens åsyn, foran forhenget.

And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprink it seven times before the LORD, even before the vail.

Og han skal legge noe av blodet på hornene av alteret som er foran Herren, som er i møteteltet; og han skal helle ut alt blodet ved foten av brennofferalteret, som er ved inngangen til møteteltet.

And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernac of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernac of the congregation.

Og han skal ta alt fettet fra ham og brenne det på alteret.

And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.

Og han skal gjøre med oksen som han gjorde med oksen som syndoffer; slik skal han gjøre med denne. Og presten skal gjøre soning for dem, og det skal bli tilgitt dem.

And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

Han skal føre oksen utenfor leiren og brenne den slik han brant den første oksen; det er et syndoffer for menigheten.

And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.

Når en høvding synder og uvitende gjør noe som bryter noen av Herrens, sin Guds bud, om ting som ikke skal gjøres, og er skyldig;

When a rur hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

Eller hvis hans synd, som han har syndet, kommer til hans kunnskap, skal han bringe sitt offer, en geitekje, et hannkjønn uten lyte;

Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowdge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a ma without bmish:

Han skal legge hånden sin på hodet til geitekjeet og slakte det i det stedet hvor de dreper brennofferet for Herrens åsyn; det er et syndoffer.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.

Og presten skal ta blodet av syndofferet med fingeren sin og legge det på hornene av brennofferalteret, og han skal helle ut alt blodet ved foten av brennofferalteret.

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.

Han skal brenne alt fettet på alteret, som fettet av fredsofferet; og presten skal gjøre soning for ham for hans synd, og det skal bli tilgitt ham.

And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

Og hvis noen av det vanlige folket synder uten å vite det og gjør noe som bryter noen av Herrens bud om ting som ikke skal gjøres, og er skyldig;

And if any one of the common peop sin through ignorance, whi he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

Eller hvis hans synd, som han har begått, kommer til hans kunnskap, da skal han bringe sitt offer, en geitekid, et hunnkjønn uten lyte, for sin synd som han har begått.

Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowdge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a fema without bmish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

Han skal legge hånden sin på hodet til syndofferet og slakte syndofferet i brennofferets sted.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

Og presten skal ta noe av blodet med fingeren sin og legge det på hornene av brennofferalteret og helle ut alt blodet ved foten av alteret.

And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

Han skal ta bort alt fettet, slik fettet er tatt bort fra fredsofferet, og presten skal brenne det på alteret for en velbehagelig duft for Herren; og presten skal gjøre soning for ham, og det skal bli tilgitt ham.

And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

Og hvis han bringer et lam som syndoffer, skal han bringe et hunnkjønn uten lyte.

And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a fema without bmish.

Han skal legge hånden sin på hodet til syndofferet og slakte det for et syndoffer der de dreper brennofferet.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

Og presten skal ta noe av blodet av syndofferet med fingeren sin og legge det på hornene av brennofferalteret, og han skal helle ut alt blodet ved foten av alteret.

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

Han skal ta bort alt fettet, slik fettet av lammet er tatt bort fra fredsofferet, og presten skal brenne dem på alteret som et offer laget med ild for Herren; og presten skal gjøre soning for hans synd som han har gjort, og det skal bli tilgitt ham.

And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
