Forkynn hans herlighet blant folkene, hans underverk blant alle folk.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

For Herren er stor og høyt lovprist; han bør fryktes mer enn alle guder.

For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

For alle folkenes guder er avguder, men Herren har skapt himlene.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

Ære og majestet er for hans åsyn; styrke og skjønnhet er i hans helligdom.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Gi Herren, alle folk, gi Herren ære og styrke.

Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Gi Herren den ære hans navn fortjener; kom med gaver og kom inn i hans forgårder.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

Tilbe Herren i hellig pragts skjønnhet; skjelv for ham, hele jorden.

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

Si blant folkene at Herren er konge; verden står fast og skal ikke rokkes; han skal dømme folkene med rettferdighet.

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

La himlene glede seg, og la jorden fryde seg; la havet bruse, og alt som fyller det.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

La markene juble, og alt som er på dem; da skal alle trærne i skogen rope av glede

Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

for Herren, for han kommer, for han kommer for å dømme jorden; han skal dømme verden med rettferdighet og folkene med sin sannhet.
