እዚ ዳዊትን ዝስዕብ ስድስተ ሚእቲ ዝነበሩ ሰባትኡን ተነስኡ ካብ ቄይላ ወጹ፣ ዝኽእሉ ቦታ ክኸዱ ከይዱ። ዳዊት ካብ ቄይላ ፈሪሑ እዩ እንዳ ሳኦል ተነግሮ ነበረ፤ ንምውራድ ድማ ተውዎ.

    25ሳኦልን ሰባትኡን ክድለዎ ከይዱ። ዳዊት ነገሩዎ፤ ስለዚ ናብ ጐድን ድንጋይ ከይዶ ወረደ፣ ኣብ ምድረ-በዳ ማዖን ተቆይሮ ነበረ። ሳኦል እዚ እንተ ሰሚዖ ንዳዊት ኣብ ምድረ-በዳ ማዖን ተኸተለዎ።

    26ሳኦል ኣብ እዚ ጎን ደብሪ ይሄድ ነበረ፣ ዳዊትን ሰባትኡን ድማ ኣብ ሓካል ጎን ደብሪ። ዳዊት ብፍርሒ ሳኦል ፈጣን ሽሓቕ ነበረ፤ ምክንያት ሳኦልን ሰባትኡን ንዳዊትን ሰባትኡን ኣብ ዙሪያ ክዕዝኡኦም ተኣካቱ።

    1ከዚ ዳዊት ነገሩዎ እንዲ ብሉ፦ ‘እዩ ፍልስጥኤማን ንቄይላ ይዋጉ እዮም፣ መድረኽታት መፈልፂ ዕር ይባርዱ እዮም.’

    4እዚ ዳዊት እግዚኣብሔር እንደ ገና ሓተተ። እግዚኣብሔር መለሰዎ እንዲ ኣለዎ፦ ‘ተነስእ፣ ናብ ቄይላ ንሕብ፤ እኔ ፍልስጥኤማን ኣብ እጅኻ ክሃብ እየ.’

    5እንተዛ ዳዊትን ሰባትኡን ናብ ቄይላ ከይዱ፣ ንፍልስጥኤማን ተዋጊዮም፣ ከብታቶም ኣካተሉ ኣመጹ፣ ብከቢድ መቅሰፍቲ ነቐሱኦም። እንተዛ ዳዊት ናይ ቄይላ ሕዝብ ኣንጽሕዎ ኣድሉዎም.

    6ኣብያታር ወዲ ኣሂሜለክ ናብ ዳዊት ናብ ቄይላ እንተ ሸፈነ፣ ኤፎድ ኣብ እጁ ይዞ ወረደ እዩ ዝከኣለ።

    7ዳዊት ናብ ቄይላ መጺኡ ሳኦል ተነግሮ ነበረ። ሳኦል እንዲ በለ፦ ‘እግዚኣብሔር ኣብ እጄ ሰጠዎ እዩ፤ መበሊታትን መዝጊያታትን ዘለዋ ከተማ ውሽጢ ብምእታው ተዘግበ ኣሎ እሱ.’

    8እንዲ ሳኦል ሕዝቡ ኩሉ ናብ ሰልፊ ጠራ፣ ናብ ቄይላ ክወርዱ ንዳዊትን ሰባትኡን ኣብ ዙሪያ ክኣካቱ ንምግባር።
