  • 2 ሳሙ 21:3-9 : 3 ስለዚ ዳዊት ንጊብዖናውያን እንተ በለ፡ እንታይ ክግበርልኩም እየ? በደል ክንደምስስ እንታይ ኢዩ ዘለና እና ንርስተ እግዚኣብሔር ክትባርኩ እንታይ ክንግበር እየ? 4 ጊብዖናውያን እንተ መለሱለት፡ ካብ ሳኦል ወይ ካብ ቤተሰቡ ብር ወይ ወርቂ ኣይንፈልጥን፤ ስለ እና ኣብ እስራኤል ሰብ ክትግደል ኣብዚ ጉዳይ ኣይንስተውን። ንጉሥ ግን እንተ በለ፡ እቲ ብትብሉ ዝብሉ ክግበርልኩም እየ። 5 እነርሱ ንንጉሥ መለሱለት፡ ንሕና ዝበጥሓናን እና ካብ ድንበሮ እስራኤል እንኳ ንኣትሩ ክንብር እንተ ዘይትረፈ ንምጥፋእ ዕቅድ ዝወሰነ ሰብ— 6 ካብ ወዲኡ ሰብዓት ረኺቡና፤ ኣብ ጊብዓ ሳኦል—እቲ እግዚኣብሔር ዘመረጸው—ኣብ ፊት እግዚኣብሔር ክንሰትዎም። ንጉሥ እንተ በለ፡ እርኣየ እንሃብካቶም በለ። 7 ግን ንጉሥ ሜፊቦሴት፣ ወዲ ዮናታን ወዲ ሳኦል፣ ሓረየዎ፤ ይኸ ድማ በዳዊትን በዮናታን መካን ዘነበረ መሐላ እግዚኣብሔር ስለ ነበረ እዩ። 8 ግን ንጉሥ ካብ ሪስፓ ልጅ አያ ለሳኦል ዝወለዳ ክልተ ወዲኡ—አርሞኒን ሜፊቦሴትን—ኣነሳሰ፤ እንዲሁም ኣምስቱ ወዶም ሚካል ልጅ ሳኦል ዘሎም፣ ንመሆላታዊ ባርዚላይ ወዲ አድርኤል ዝኣስደገፈቶም። 9 እነዚኦም ኣብ እጅ ጊብዖናውያን ኣስረኽቦም፤ እነርሱ ኣብ ተራራ በፊት እግዚኣብሔር ሰቲዎም። ሰብዓቱ ብኣንድነት ወድቀው ሞቱ፤ ኣብ ጀማሪ መከር ዕለታት፣ ጀማሪ መከር ጥራር ጊዜ ተገደሉ። 10 ሪስፓ ልጅ አያ ማቅ ወስዳ ላዕሊ ኮነ ሰፈነት፤ ካብ ጀማሪ መከር ክሳብ ካብ ሰማይ ማይ እስኪድል ድማ ተኮነት ተጸንኣት። ቀን ወፎት ክዕርፍዎም ኣይፈቀደቶምን፣ ለይቲ ምሽት ደጊሞ እንስሳት ክበልዖም ኣይፈቀደቶምን። 11 ሪስፓ ልጅ አያ ቁባእ ሚስት ሳኦል ዝገበረት ነገር ለዳዊት ተብለ ተነገረ። 12 ዳዊት ሄደ ኣጥንት ሳኦልን ኣጥንት ዮናታን ወዲኡን ካብ ሰባት ያቤስ-ገለዓድ ኣመጣ፤ እዚኦም ሰባት ኣጥንታት ካብ መንገዲ ቤትሻን ኣብ ፍልስጥኤማውያን ዝሰተዎሞ ቦታ ብስትር ዝነሻኡኦም ነበር፣ ፍልስጥኤማውያን ሳኦል ኣብ ግልቦዓ እንተ ገዱሱ ጊዜ። 13 ካብ ዚኣ ቦታ ኣጥንት ሳኦልን ኣጥንት ዮናታን ወዲኡን ኣመጣ፤ እንዲሁ ኣጥንታት እቶም ዝተሰተውዎም ሰባት ደጊሞ ሰብስበዋ። 14 ኣጥንት ሳኦልን ኣጥንት ዮናታን ወዲኡን ኣብ ሃገር ብንያም ኣብ ጼላ ኣብ መቃብር ኣቦሓ ቂስ ቀብሮም፤ እቶም ንጉሥ ዝእዘ ኩሉ ኣገብሩ። እዚ ድሕሪኡ እግዚኣብሔር ንምድሪ ተማሕነ።

    24ንጉሱ ግና ኣራውናን ኣለዎ፦ ኣይኮነን፤ እዚ ቦታ ብዋጋ ክገዛ እየ። ዋጋ ዘይኣለዎ ነገር መሥዋዕቲ ለእግዚኣብሔር ኣምላኬ ኣይኣቀርብን። እሞ ዳዊት መታፈኛ መሬትን በሬታትን ብሓምሳ ሺቅል ብብር ገዛ።

    25ኣብዚ ዳዊት መሠዊያ ለእግዚኣብሔር ሕነጸ፣ መሥዋዕቲ ምቃጠልን መሥዋዕቲ ሰላምን ኣቀረበ። እግዚኣብሔር ስለ ምድሪ ተመሐረ፣ በሽታ ካብ እስራኤል ተቋረጠ።

    18በዚ መዓልቲ ጋድ ናብ ዳዊት መጺኡ ኣለዎ፦ ተው ናብ መታፈኛ መሬት ኣራውና ይብሳዊ ላዕለ መሠዊያ ለእግዚኣብሔር ንሕነጽ።

    19ዳዊት እንተ እግዚኣብሔር ዘዘየ እናምረ እንተ ተባሂሉ ከመ ቃል ጋድ ወጺኡ።

    20ኣራውና ኣረኣየ እዚ ንጉስን ኣገልጋሎቱን ናብ እሞ ዝመጹ ረኣየ፤ ኣራውና ወጻአ ናብ ንጉስ ብገጽ ኣብ መሬት ተደፍቶ ሰገደሎ።
