ኣብርሃም ዓይኖቱ ኣነሳ ተመሊሱ ረአዮ፤ እነ ድሕሪኡ ወዲ በጊ ብቀንዲቱ ኣብ ቁጥቋጦ ተይዚ እዩ። ኣብርሃም ቀረበ እቲ ወዲ በጊ ወሰደ፣ ብተንስኤ ልጁ ንመስዋእቲ ሙሉእ ዝቃጠለ ኣቅርበዮ።

    1እዚኦም ነገራት ኣብ ኋላ ተኸይዱ እንተ ይኸውን፣ ኣምላኽ ኣብርሃም ፈተነዎ እዩ። እሞ ክብሎ ጠርዎ፦ ኣብርሃም! እሞ እርሒኦ፦ እነ ኣነ።

    2እሞ እንተ ይብል ነገረዎ፦ ልጅኻ፣ ሓደ ልጅኻ ይስሓቅ ዝበዝሕካ፣ ኣሎኻ፤ ናብ ምድሪ ሞራያ ሂድ፤ ኣብ ሓደ ካብቲ ተራሮታት ዝነግርካ ላዕለይ እቲ ልጅኻ ንመስዋእቲ ሙሉእ ዝቃጠለ ኣቅርብዎ።

    3ኣብርሃም ጥራሕ ጠዋሚ ተነሲኡ፣ ኣህያው ኣርኣመረዎ፣ ካብ ዘሎዎ ንእሽቶ ሰባት ክልተ ወሰደ፣ ይስሓቅ ልጁን ወሰደ። ንመስዋእቲ ሙሉእ ዝቃጠለ ሕሩይቶ ቈረጸ፣ ተነሲኡ ሄዱ ናብ እቲ ቦታ ኣምላኽ ዝነገረዎ።

    4ብዝሒ ቀን ሰለስተ ኣብርሃም ዓይኖቱ ኣነሳ፣ እቲ ቦታ ርሑቕ ረአዮ።

    5ኣብርሃም ንእቲ ንእሽቶ ሰባት ነገረዎም፦ ኣብዚ ምስ ኣህያው ቆዩ፤ ኣነን ወዲ እናን ናብ ዛንቲ ንምምስጋና ክንሄድ ኢና፣ ድጊም ናባኹም ክንመለስ ኢና።

    6ኣብርሃም ሕሩይቶ ንመስዋእቲ ሙሉእ ዝቃጠለ ብላዕሊ ይስሓቅ ልጁ ኣነበረዎ፤ እቶ ኣብ እድዩ ወሰደ፣ ምስሪት ደጊም ወሰደ፤ እቲ ክልቶም ሓባር ሓባር ሄዱ።

    7ይስሓቅ ኣብርሃም ኣቦኡ ተናገረ፦ ኣቦይ! እሞ እርሒኦ፦ እነ ወዲድየ። እሞ እንተ ይብል ኣለ፦ እቶን ሕሩይቶን እዮም፣ ንመስዋእቲ ሙሉእ ዝቃጠለ ንእሽ በጊ ኣበይ ኣሎ?

    8ኣብርሃም መለሰለይ፦ ወዲድየ፣ ኣምላኽ ራሱ ንመስዋእቲ ንእሽ በጊ ክረክብ እዩ። እዚኦም ክልቶም ሓባር ሓባር ሄዱ።

    9ንእቲ ኣምላኽ ዝነገረዎ ቦታ መጹ፤ ኣብርሃም መሠዊያ ሠረሐ፣ ሕሩይቶ ብደረጃ ኣስተኻኸለ፣ ይስሓቅ ልጁ ኣሰረዎ፣ ኣብ መሠዊያ ብላዕሊ ሕሩይቶ ኣሕተቱ።

    10ኣብርሃም እድዩ ኣዘረገ፣ ልጁ ንምቕባል ምስሪት ኣንሰተወ።

    11መልአክ እግዚኣብሄር ካብ ሰማይ ጠርዎ እንተ ይብል፦ ኣብርሃም፣ ኣብርሃም! እሞ እርሒኦ፦ እነ ኣነ።

    12እሞ ነገረዎ፦ እድኻ ኣብ ወዲ ኣይትርኣረእ፤ ንሱ ምንም ነገር ኣይትግበር። ሕጂ ኣምላኽ ትፍርሕ እከ ዘለኻ ፈልጠለይ፣ ስለዘ ልጅኻ ሓደ ልጅኻ ካብኣይ ኣይተኣጋገፍካን።
