  • ዘፍጥ 32:11-28 : 11 “ካብ እጅ ሓወይ፣ ካብ እጅ ኤሳው ኣውጽአኒ፤ ንሱ ፈርሐ እየ፣ ክመጽእ ይቕጽልኒ እና ኣደን ምስ ልጆም ይወግድና ክኸውን እፈርሕ።” 12 “እንተ ኣለኻ፣ ‘ጽቡቕ ክሕረክ እየ እና ዘርኻ ከም ኣሸዋ ባሕሪ ዘልቆ ክበዝሕ እዩ፣ ብብዙሑ ምልክም ዘይክእል እዩ’ ብለካ ነይርካ።” 13 ብዚ ሓመድ ለይቲ ኣብዚ ተደመረ፤ ካብ ዘረኣየ ዕቃ ሓደ ስጦታ መረጸ ንሰዲዶ ናብ ሓውኡ ኤሳው ላኣኻ። 14 ሁለት ሚእቲ ኣንስተይቲ ፍየል፣ ሃያ ወንድ ፍየል፣ ሁለት ሚእቲ ኣንስተይቲ ግልዓ፣ ሃያ ወንድ ግልዓ። 15 ሰላሳ ግመላት ዝምጽ ምስ ልጆም፣ ኣርባ ላማት፣ ዓሰርተ በሬታት፣ ሃያ ኣንስተይቲ ኣህያታት፣ ዓሰርተ ቆልዑ ኣህያ። 16 እዞም ንኣገልጋዮ ኣምሃሩ፣ እያ መንጋ ብራሳ እንዳ ክሰዱ፤ እንዳ ኣለፉ ቅድሚያይ ኢሉን በዓል መንጋን መንጋን ርብሓ ኣእምሩ ኢሉን ነገረዮም። 17 ንዝመጀመረ ኣዘዘ እንተ ብሎ፣ “ኤሳው ሓውና እንተ ተገናአኻኩም ይጠይቕኩም እንተ ብሎ፣ ‘ማን ናትኩም? ናበይ ትዝሑ? እዚኦም ቅድሚኩም ዝምለጡ ማን ናቶም እዮም?’” 18 “እዚ ብሉ፣ ‘ኣገልጋይኻ ያዕቆብ ናቶም እዮም፤ እዚ ናብ ጌታና ኤሳው ዝተላኣኸ ስጦታ እዩ፤ እዚ እድሕሪና እዩ ይመጽእሉ እሞ።’” 19 እንዲኻ ካልእን ሶስተይን ዝተከተሉ መንጋታትን ኩሉ ኣምሃረ፤ “እዚ መንገዲ ክትበሉ እዮም እንተ ተገናአትዎ ኤሳው” ኢሉ። 20 “እንተደገመ እዚ ብሉ፣ ‘ኣገልጋይኻ ያዕቆብ ኣብ ርክብና እዩ።’ እሱ ግን እንተ ብሎ፣ ‘ቅድሚያይ ዝሒዙ እዚ ስጦታ ክንድድዎ እየ፤ ንድሕሪ ፊቱ ክረክብ፣ ምናልባት ይተቐብለኒ’ ኔሩ። 21 እንዳ ስጦታ ቅድሚኡ ሄደት፤ እሱ ግን ብዚ ሓመድ ለይቲ ኣብ ሰፈሩ ተደመረ። 22 ብዚ ሓመድ ለይቲ ተነስዮ ክልተ በታቱን ክልተ ኣንስተይቲ ባሪያቱን ዓሰርተ ኣሓዱ ወዲያቱን ወስዶ መሻገሪ ያቦቅ ሻገረ። 23 እነርኣዩ ወስዶም ኣብ ወንዝ ኣልፈዎም፣ ዘሎ ኩሉ እንከሎ ኣልፈዎ። 24 ያዕቆብ ሓሪ ብዝሓለፈ ተረፈ፤ እዚ ሰብ ምስኡ እስከ ጠዋት ድማ ተመናበበ። 25 ኣብ ምርኣዩ ኣይተነጸየን እንተ ረኺቡ መታን ጉልበቱ ነንንዎ፤ እዚ ምስ ይተመናበብ እንተ ነበረ መታን ጉልበት ያዕቆብ ተሰንበረ። 26 እሱ እንተ ብሎ፣ “ፍትሐኒ፤ ጠዋት እዩ ዝብልጽ” ኢሉ። እሱ ግን እንተ ብሎ፣ “እስከ ትባርከኒ ድማ ኣይፍትሕካን” ኢሉ። 27 “ስምካ ማን እዩ?” ኢሉ ሓተተዮ። እሱ እንተ ብሎ፣ “ያዕቆብ” ኢሉ። 28 እሱ እንተ ብሎ፣ “ስምካ ዳግማይ ያዕቆብ ኣይተባህለን፣ እስራኤል ክብል እዩ፤ ስለዚ ንኣምላኽን ንሰባትን ተመናበብካ ኣሸንፈካ።”

    8ይሁዳ ንኣቦርሱ እስራኤል ኣለዎ፡ “እቲ ወዲ ምስዬ ስደድዎ፤ ንንነስን ንንሄድን፤ ንንእምብርናን ንኣይንሞትን፣ ንሕናን ንስኻን ከምኡውን ቆልዓትና።”

    9“እኔ ዋስነት ክሆንለይ እየ። ካብ ጡቤ ትጠይቀይካዮ ትኽእል። እንተ ንኣኻ ኣይኣመጽእኩዎን እና ቅድሚካ ኣይኣቐመጥኩዎን፣ ለዓለም ክተኸፍለኒ ይኸውን።”
