    2እንዚ ስለ ሆነ ሳንባላጥን ጌሴምን ንኔ መልእኽቲ ሰደዱ ብልዎ: “ና፣ ኣብ ሜዳ ኦኖ ኣብ ሓደ መንደር ንተራኸብ”; ግን ክፍታ ክግበሩ ይነብሩ ነበሩ.

    3ኣነ መልእኽተኛታት ንሕቶም ላኣኻ ብልዎ: “ዓቢ ስራሕ እየ ዝግበር፣ ስለዚ ክነስ ኣይክእልን። እቲ ስራሕ እዚ እድል ዘለዎ ክቁርጽ እንዴ? ኣብ ስነ ዘለኒ ብምተዓዘብ ናብኹም ክነስ ክመጽእ?”

    4ነገር ግን እንደዚ ዓራት ጊዜ ንኔ ላኣኻ ነበሩ፤ ኣነ ድማ ተመሳሳሊ መልሲ ሃበኾም.

    5በዚ መንገዲ ክሳዕ ሓሙሽተ ጊዜ ሳንባላጥ ኣገልጋይኡ ንኔ ላኣኻ፤ ኣብ እጁ ክፉት መልእኽቲ ዘሎ።

    6ብዙሕ እንተዘለኹ እዚ ዝተጻፈ እዩ: “ብመካነ ኣሕዛብ ይተነግር እዩ፣ ጋሽሙ እዩ ዝብል፣ ንስኻን ይሁዳውያን ምምቃብ ትሓስቡ ኢኹም፤ ስለዚ ምክንያት ቅጥር ትሰርሕ ኢኻ፣ ንእሱም ንንጉሥ ክትሆን ኢኻ—ከም እነዚ ቃላት.”

    7“እንዲኣ ንስኻ ኣብ ኢየሩሳሌም ስለካ ክዘርቡ ነቢያት መደብካ ኣሎካ፣ ‘ኣብ ይሁዳ ንጉሥ ኣሎ’ ብለይ። እዚ ከም እነዚ ቃላት ናብ ንጉሥ ይነገር እዩ። ስለዚ ሕጂ ና፣ ንምክር ብሓባር ንንተሓይሽ.”

    8እንዚኣ ንሱ ላኣኻ ብልዎ: “ከም ዝብልካ ነገር ኣይተገበረን፤ እዚ ግን ካብ ልብካ ትፈነውዋ ኢኻ እዮም.”

    9እቲ ኩሉ ንንሕዝና ኣፍርሕዎና ይበሉ ነበሩ፣ “እጆም ካብ ስራሕ ክደኻሙ እዮም እንዳ ስራሑ ኣይተፈጸመን” ብሉ። ስለዚ ሕጂ፣ ኣምላኼ የ፣ እጆይ ኣበርቱ.

    10ብድሕሪ ዚ ኣብ ቤት ሸማያ ወዲ ደላያ ወዲ ሜሄታቤል ዝተዘጋጅ ነበረ ዘሎ ኣገብረኹ፤ እሱ ንኔ እንተይ ብሎ: “ና፣ ኣብ ቤት ኣምላኽ ውሽጢ መቅደስ ንተራኸብ፤ በራታት መቅደስ ንዘጋ፤ እነሆ ክመጹ እዮም ንኽውግሩካ—እወ፣ በለም ለሊት ክመጹ እዮም ንኽውግሩካ.”

    11ኣነ እንተይ ብልዎ: “ከም እኔ ዓይነት ሰብ ክሸሽግ ይግባእ? ከም እኔ ዝሆን ሰብ ንሕይወቱ ንምሕዳስ ኣብ መቅደስ ይግባእ? ኣይግበእን—ኣይእተን.”

    12እኔ ርእየ ኣምላኽ ኣይሰደደዎን ነበር፤ ግን እዚ ትንቢት ናተይ ላዕለ ናገረ ነበር፣ ምክንያቱ ጦቢያን ሳንባላጥን ኣዝመዱዎ.

    17በዚ መዓልታት ድማ ኣለቃት ይሁዳ ንጦቢያ ብዙሕ መልእኽታት ሰደዱ፣ መልእኽታት ጦቢያ ደጊም ንነቶም ይመጹ ነበሩ.

    18ምክንያቱ ድማ ብዙሓት ኣብ ይሁዳ ብምሕላ ምስ ጦቢያ ተዋሕዱ ነበሩ፣ ምክንያቱ ደግሞ ጦቢያ ወዲ-ጓል ጸክንያ ወዲ ዓራ ነበሩ፤ ወዲኡ ዮሐናን ደጊም ጓል መሹላም ወዲ በረክያ ኣጋበየ.

    19እንዲኣ ጽቡቕ ሥራሑ በፊትየ ይንገርሉ ነበሩ፣ ቃላተይ ደጊም ንሱ ይንገርሉ ነበሩ። ጦቢያ ድማ ንደሓስትየ መልእኽታት ላኣኸ.
