    13ተመለከተችም እነሆ፣ ንጉሡ በመግቢያው ዘንድ በመሠረቱ ላይ ቆሟል፤ መሪዎችና መለከቶችም በንጉሡ አጠገብ ነበሩ፤ የአገሩ ሕዝብ ሁሉ ደስ ብሎአቸው መለከት ይነፉ ነበር፤ መዘምራንም እና የዝማሬ አስተማሪዎች በየሙዚቃ መሳሪያቸው ይዘመሩ ነበር። አታልያ ልብሷን ቀደደችና፣ ሽንገላ! ሽንገላ! አለች።

    14ዮያዳ ካህን በሠራዊቱ ላይ የተሾሙትን ከመቶ መኮንኖች አወጣቸውና እንዲህ አላቸው፤ ከረድፎቹ መካከል ውጭ አውጡአት፤ የሚከተላትም ሁሉ በሰይፍ ይገደል፤ ካህኑም፣ እግዚአብሔር ቤት ውስጥ አትግደሉአት አለ።

    15እነርሱም በላይዋ እጃቸውን ጣሉት፤ እርሷም በንጉሡ ቤት አጠገብ ባለው በፈረስ ደጅ መግቢያ ሲደርስ እዚያው ገደሏት።

    16ዮያዳም በእርሱና በሕዝቡ ሁሉ እና በንጉሡ መካከል ሕዝቡ የእግዚአብሔር ሕዝብ ይሆኑ ዘንድ ኪዳን አደረገ።
