    21ሞዓባውያንም ሁሉ ነገሥታቱ ሊዋጉ መጥተዋል ብለው በሰሙ ጊዜ ጦር መልበስ የሚችሉ ሁሉ ተሰብስበው በዳር ቆመው።

    22ጠዋት ተነሥተው ሲያምሩ ፀሐይ በውሃው ላይ በራ፥ ሞዓባውያንም ውሃውን ሌላ ወገን እንደ ደም ቀይ ሆኖ አዩ።

    23አሉም፦ ይህ ደም ነው፤ ነገሥታቱ በእርስ በርሳቸው ተመቱ፥ እርስ በርስ መቱ፤ አሁን እንግዲህ ሞዓብ ሆይ ወደ ብዝበዛው ሂዱ!

    24ወደ እስራኤል ሰፈር ሲደርሱ እስራኤላውያን ተነሥተው ሞዓባውያንን መቱ፥ እነርሱም ከፊታቸው ሸሹ፤ እስራኤላውያን ግን ገብተው እያመቱ እስከ ምድራቸው ድረስ አሳደዱአቸው።

    25ከተሞቹንም አፈርሱ፤ በመልካም ምድር ሁሉ ላይ እያንዳንዱ ሰው ድንጋዩን ጥሎ ሞላ፤ የውሃ ጕድጓዶቹን ሁሉ አጉዱ፥ መልካሙን ዛፍ ሁሉ ቈረጡ፤ በቂር-ሐራሴት ግን ድንጋዮቿን ብቻ ተዉ፤ ነገር ግን የጥል ጦር በዙሪያዋ ዞረው መቱአት።

    10እስራኤል ንጉሥም አለ፦ ወዮ! እግዚአብሔር እነዚህን ሶስት ነገሥታት ሞዓብ በእጃቸው እንዲሰጥ ለማድረግ አንድ ላይ ሰበሰባቸው!
