    21በዚያ ወራት ሞርድካይ በንጉሡ መግቢያ ደጅ ተቀምጦ ሳለ የደጅ ጠባቂዎች ከንጉሡ ሽኩሮች ሁለቱ ቢግታንና ቴሬሽ ተቈጥተው በንጉሥ አሐሥወሮስ ላይ እጅ ሊዘርጉ ፈለጉ።

    22ነገሩም ለሞርድካይ ታወቀ፤ እርሱም ለንግሥቲቱ አስቴር ነገራት፤ አስቴርም ነገሩን በሞርድካይ ስም ለንጉሡ አረጋገጠች።
