    15ሞርድካይ አጎት የሆነው አቢሄል ልጅ እና ሞርድካይ እንደ ልጁ የወሰዳት አስቴር ወደ ንጉሡ ለመግባት ተራዋ ሲደርስ ሔጋይ የንጉሡ ሽኩር የሴቶች አሳዳጊ ያስተዘዘው ብቻ እንጂ ሌላ ነገር አልሻለችም፤ አስቴርም የተመለከቱአት ሁሉ ዘንድ ሞገስ አገኘች።

    16እንግዲህ አስቴር በመንግሥቱ ሰባተኛ ዓመት በአስር ወር የተቤት ወር ሳለ ወደ ንጉሥ አሐሥወሮስ ወደ እርሱ የመንግሥት ቤት ተወሰደች።

    17ንጉሡም አስቴርን ከሴቶች ሁሉ ይልቅ ወደዳት፤ ከደናግሎች ሁሉ ይልቅ በፊቱ ጸጋና ሞገስ አገኘች፤ ስለዚህ የመንግሥት አክሊል በራሷ ላይ አኖረ እና በዋስጢ ፋንታ ንግሥት አደረጋት።

    18ከዚያ ንጉሡ ለአለቆቹና ለአገልጋዮቹ ሁሉ ታላቅ መግቢያ ዝክር አደረገ፤ ይህም የአስቴር ዝክር ነበር። ለክልሎቹ ቅናሽ አደረገ እና እንደ ንጉሳዊ ሁኔታ ስጦታዎችን ሰጠ።

    22ነገሩም ለሞርድካይ ታወቀ፤ እርሱም ለንግሥቲቱ አስቴር ነገራት፤ አስቴርም ነገሩን በሞርድካይ ስም ለንጉሡ አረጋገጠች።
