    22እግዚአብሔርም ሙሴን አለው፦ እጅህን ወደ ሰማይ ዘርጋ፤ በግብጽ ምድር ሁሉ በሰውና በእንስሳ ላይ እንዲሁም በሜዳ ያለ ተክል ሁሉ ላይ በረዶ እዲወርድ.

    23ሙሴም በበትሩ ወደ ሰማይ እጁን ዘረጋ፤ እግዚአብሔርም ነጎድጓድና በረዶ ሰደደ፤ እሳትም በመሬት ላይ ተመንጠረ፤ እግዚአብሔርም በግብጽ ምድር ላይ በረዶ አወረደ.

    24እጅግ ከባድ በረዶ ነበረ፤ በረዶውም ከእሳት ጋር የተቀላቀለ ነበር፤ ከግብጽ ሕዝብ ከሆነች ጀምሮ እስከ ዛሬ ድረስ በእርስዋ ያልታየ ያህል.

    14አንበጣዎቹም በግብፅ ምድር ሁሉ ላይ ወጡ፥ በግብፅም ዳርቻ ሁሉ ላይ ተቀመጡ፤ እጅግ ከባድ ነበሩ፤ ከእነርሱ በፊት እንደእነርሱ ያሉ አንበጣዎች አልነበሩም፥ ከእነርሱ በኋላም እንዲሁ ያሉ አይሆኑም።

    15የምድርን ፊት ሁሉ ሸፍነው ምድሩ እስኪጨለም ድረስ ነበር፤ የመሬቱን ሣር ሁሉ እና በረዶው የተረፈውን የዛፎች ፍሬ ሁሉ በሉ፤ በግብፅ ምድር ሁሉ ላይ በዛፎችም ሆነ በሜዳ ሣር ውስጥ ማንኛውም አረንጓዴ ነገር አልቀረም።
