    45እኔም በልቤ እንዳለሁ መናገሬን ሳላጨርስ፥ እነሆ ሪብቃ በትከሻዋ ማጠራቀሚያዋን ተሸክማ ወጣች፤ ወደ ጒድጓዱም ወረደች ውሃም ሰበሰቀች፤ እኔም እንዲህ አልኋት፦ እባክሽ እንስጠጣ።

    46እርስዋም ፈጥና ማጠራቀሚያዋን ከትከሻዋ አውርዳ እንዲህ አለች፦ ጠጣ፥ ግሬዎችህንም እጠጣለሁ፤ እኔም ጠጣሁ፥ ግሬዎቹንም እንዲሁ አጠጣች።

    47እርስዋንም ጠየቅሁ፦ ማን ልጅ ነሽ? አልሁአት፤ እርስዋም፦ ሚልክላ ለናሖር የወለደችው የቤቱኤል ልጅ ነኝ አለች፤ እኔም ጆሮ ቀለበቱን በፊቷ፣ ክሮቹንም በእጆቿ ላይ አስነጣጥቄ አኖርሁ።

    22ግሬዎቹም ከመጠጣቸው በኋላ ሰውዬው ግማሽ ሰቅል የሚመዝን የወርቅ ጆሮ ቀለበትና እያንዳንዷ ዐሥር ሰቅል የሚመዘኑ ሁለት የወርቅ ክሮች ወሰደ።

    23እንዲህም አላት፦ ማን ልጅ ነሽ? እባክሽ ንገሪኝ፤ በአባትሽ ቤት ለእኛ ለመቀመጥ ስፍራ አለ?

    24እርስዋም አለችው፦ ሚልክላ ለናሖር የወለደችው የቤቱኤል ልጅ ነኝ።
